CaffeinatedOpe's Infrastructure as Code

because i already forgot how i set up my homelab

Homelabs are awesome. However, I have the memory of a goldfish, so remembering how to make a change after I've done it a few weeks ago, or even a few minutes ago, is a herculean task. The solution: write down all the settings I need, then re-use the same five or so commands to make those changes. While most people would call this solution lazy and overcomplicated, a small group of people who call themselves "sysadmins" call the concept "Infrastructure as Code", which is significantly cooler sounding. One slight issue with using this term is that it tends to involve the creation and initialization of virtual resources from a cloud provider, but I'm going to prevent that from being an issue by ignoring it entirely.

The Mess I've Made:

I've structured things in a way that's only slightly confusing to me. Before I explain the software side, I'm going to explain the hardware, so things might sound less foolish. I've got 3 identical machines, all running with 8gb of ram, 4 only slightly geriatric cores, and 128gb ssds. While this setup would've been considered underpowered and cramped when it comes to the ram and storage, the blessing of a ram crisis makes it Almost Reasonable™.
Now that the thinking rocks are explained, onto the fun part: the software side, which needs a college degree that I don't have in order to fully understand.

The Services

Now for the part you've all been waiting for: all the nonsense I run on my lab that I really don't need to.

the //TODO list:

I've gotten a lot done, but there's so much more to do. Here's the ones I've remembered to write down:
